Our fleet is moving fast towards electric, and we measure our footprint year after year and work to reduce it. We also plan differently. Fewer stops, longer stays, more time with the people who live here. Slower travel is kinder to the country, and it is almost always the better trip. We spend where our guests travel, with family-run farms, local guides and small producers, so the money stays in the communities that make the journey worth taking. Get to know us
Thirty people, one office in Reykjavík, and most of us have been here long enough to know the hotel managers, the chefs and the mountain roads by first name. Between us you will find a lawyer, a sommelier, a former youth international footballer and at least one experimental choir singer, and we speak more than ten languages. None of that is in the job description. All of it ends up in the journeys.
